Stepping out onto the world stage at a very young age, Lisa made her debut in the World Cup with the sprint in Östersund, celebrating her first World Championships in Kontiolahti the following year with a world champion bronze in the relay.
Once again in Kontiolahti, she earned her first individual medal in the World Cup, a bronze in the pursuit that led to a two-year period of great results crowned by the Olympic bronze medal in the relay at the Pyeongchang 2018 Winter Olympic Games.
Having won the silver medal in Östersund, Lisa triumphed in the individual World Cup and, thanks to her successes in Oberhof, she became the first Italian biathlete to win in the pursuit and the second to achieve two consecutive victories in the Cup.
After two subdued seasons, thanks to her excellent physical form in the pursuit and a newfound precision in shooting, she underwent a true renaissance, earning both medals and her place on the podiums, as well as achieving her second individual World Cup title.
