Dominik earned his first World Cup points, finishing 26th in the super combined at Beaver Creek. That same year, he won three medals at the Junior World Championships: two silvers (in the downhill and combined events) and a bronze (in the super-G).

2012

On December 29th, he scored his first World Cup victory in Bormio. A month later, on January 26, 2013, Dominik definitively confirmed his status by winning the downhill in Kitzbühel. Triumphing on the Streif, the most dangerous and legendary slope on the circuit, immediately brought him into the world speed elite. In February, he took the silver medal in the downhill at the World Championships in Schaldming.

2019

At the World Championships in Åre, he won the gold medal in the Super-G slalom, beating Johan Clarey and Vincent Kriechmayr by just 0.9 seconds. That same year, he also won the Super-G World Cup. The following year, he was among the winners of the Fair Play Menarini International Award.

2026

The final piece of his incredible list of achievements comes on home soil. At the Milan Cortina Winter Olympics, he won the bronze medal in the downhill on the Stelvio slope in Bormio. At 36, “Domme” confirms himself as one of the most successful athletes in Italian skiing.
