There is a bit of Romagna in this champion, son of the free land of San Marino, that has repaid its value with the highest honour of the Republic. And certainly, the determination and strength, which derived from this membership, was so intense to push him to the highest levels of the 125 and 250 class, not forgetting, for today, to share his experience as coach of Team Gresini.<\/p>\n

With the number 54 on the hull, which he will never abandon except once because the rules require it, after the inevitable phase of experience, started with his uncle, Manuel discovers the fascination of speed that he will never abandon until he reaches the record at the 2001 World Championship 125 class riding the Gilera.<\/p>\n

The charm of the number UNO will be such that it will be repeated in the 250 class in 2003 with the Aprilia. This is the career: 131 races, 12 wins, 35 podiums.<\/p>\n
