The marathon is a walker\u2019s biggest dream. The name itself speaks about an ancient land. It is an epic event which reoccurs but under a different sky. Stefano Baldini realized such an impossible dream in Greece, in Athens and his win was marked by Olympia. His origins are\u00a0 humble, his story is characterized by a peaceful provincial family made up of eleven brothers. He saw running as the most important goal and in fact, it became his future. His career has always been steadfast like for all those who practice running. Firstly, he began with amateur running, then he started obtaining better and better results until, finally, he reached many records. As a matter of fact, among his achievements besides repeating Filippide\u2019s exploit, there is the Italian distance record which has not been beaten yet. His everyday life still speaks about running, rhythm, concentration, ability, sacrifice and will. He teaches all these values to his junior athlete.
