She used to fly high, thanks to the leap that burst on the springboard, both in the long and in the triple jump, in order to avoid the rules of gravity and to take shelter in those of aerodynamics.
The ability to remain suspended in the air, child of rhythm and velocity, earned her an uninterrupted series of victories, both in World and in European competitions, and in the Olympic Games, where more than once she was near to meet again with the golden medal that she won in Athens, adding the silver and the bronze ones.
For the fans she had the chance to reaffirm, with great merit, the validity of the Russian school, which made her surpass all the other nations.
For a long time the bounds that she reached became an insuperable boundary which nowadays the man’s limitless possibilities could push forward.
Tatiana, after the end of the golden years of her sports performances, decided to face another type of competition, which she won, earning the honour and the commitment of becoming a deputy of the State Duma.
In addition to this position she is a protagonist of the IAAF Women’s Committee, besides being the President of the Volgograd Russian Federation.
